Meet Ana
From the time I was a six-year-old learning the art of balance on a unpredictable athletic little pony in the sweeping pastures of a small southern farm, to running my own multifaceted equine business, my journey has been nothing short of a lifelong enjoyment with horses. Back when our family herd was just budding with six horses, I never imagined that the trail rides and summer camps I co-led with my mom would be the stepping stones to my future as an equine entrepreneur.
Over the years, I’ve dabbled in a little of every equestrian pursuit that peaked my interest —be it endurance riding, cow penning, cart driving, or honing my skills in Western and English styles. For me education never stops. My role as a trainer has allowed me to shape the destinies of hundreds of horses, each with their own quirks and temperaments, from the untamed wild ones to the stubborn backyard pet. The variety of breeds I’ve encountered has been the spice of my profession, although I must confess that nothing quite thrills me like working with draft and draft crosses.
A few years ago, l left the big family business, allowing me to launch Axle Blue Equine Services. Here, I’ve taken my love for equines to a different level with carriage services in a new location for weddings, and special events. I’ve introduced Drum stallion services, and of course, continued educating aspiring riders and training. Every day presents a new chance to share this incredible journey and deep-seated love for horses with my clients, and that is the most fulfilling and exciting journey l could ask for while heading down the wonderful trail of life!
